Hey there!
I'm Elizabeth Luke
I am lucky enough to have married my best friend and possibly my biggest fan. Together, we've built a life we love! We've had the responsibility and have experienced the immense joy and the struggle (let's be real here), of raising four amazing humans, with our last baby starting high school this year.

You know what they say: time flies when you're having fun! This is true but replace "fun" with "kids," and no truer words were spoken.

I remember from an early age being in absolute heaven when I was near babies. I was the "mother's helper" at birthday parties. My 14-year-old self spent nearly my entire summer babysitting for neighbors and friends on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. My mom would limit me to only those nights so I could still enjoy my summer of "being a kid." I am eternally grateful for that now! The greatest thing about being a Xennial is that I had an analog childhood and a digital adulthood.

Fast forward to now (VHS reference another Xennial pleasure). I have provided science-based care for babies and compassionate support to families for over 30 years in one capacity or another. Through the years, I've learned so many things. I have a couple of fundamental beliefs. One is that there is no right or wrong way to parent your babies, only different ways. Gun safety, water safety, and car seat safety are my only caveats, as those are often unforgiving. The other is that when we focus our love and support on parents, they will be their best selves and take the best care of their babies!
It's pretty clear to see my passion has always been family!

My bucket list includes visiting Alaska, seeing the aurora borealis, and being an organizational genius.
As a perinatal educator, postpartum and infant care specialist, and infant sleep specialist, I nerd out on all things mother-baby-related. My specialties include teaching parents about boundaries and advocacy (for themselves & their babies), planning for the fourth trimester, infant development, infant feeding, sleep science (parents and babies), relationships and boundaries, and sexual health and wellness.
If my 40-year-old self could tell my 15-year-old self anything, it would be, "Comparison is the thief of joy!" When I am not pouring to fill someone else's cup, I'm filling my own (you know, balance). I love traveling. I've visited 16 out of 50 states, and of all my travels, the upper peninsula along the shores of Lake Superior in Michigan calls to my heart repeatedly! I thoroughly enjoy crocheting, camping with friends, swimming, and watching crime documentaries with either an Earl Grey tea or a strong cup of coffee in my hands.
