Hello, My Name is Whitney Teel

This is week two of blogs featuring our team members! Here's last week's blog featuring Scotti Howard. Today's blog is all about Whitney Teel. Whitney is the Family Coordinator and a Postpartum and Infant Care Specialist here at The Jacksonville Baby Company.

Whitney and I met in 2015 at a business training and we've been friends and colleagues ever since! Whitney has the unique ability to brighten my day with just her smile, she's fun, an incredible listener, and I admire her decisiveness.

In addition to training and certifying with The Jacksonville Baby Company, Whitney holds multiple certifications in birth, baby, and parenting support and owns and runs her own business. If you call or email The Jacksonville Baby Company chances are you will have the honor of speaking or communicating with Whitney.

Whitney is a master organizer and it's kinda cute watching how excited she gets to show off that skill. Whitney is a proud mom, wife to her best friend of nearly 20 years, Michael, and a lover of animals. A compassionate professional and a pillar of strength to the families with whom she works, Whitney uses an empathetic approach and encourages parents to use their intuition and trust themselves as they fortify new bonds and grow in confidence.

this or that, one person's preferences

Whitney, what's one thing you want all parents to know?

"Nothing will be perfect, mistakes will be made, and grace will be given because you are everything to your babies!"

Some of Whitney's life goals are to spend months, or even years traveling in an RV with her husband, live simply, have close relationships with each of her children, and be the best dang grandma and mother-in-law there ever was!

Whitney is an intuitive Aquarius who loves the color purple, and thinks the 90's was the best decade!

Whitney, if you had to live on a deserted island for the next 5 years what five things would bring with you?

  1. seeds

  2. water filter

  3. tent

  4. something to resemble a person because I’d HATE to be alone

  5. a radio to talk to people on
